FIELD NOTES: DREAM ONE
The dream that began the Foundation

I was in a big house. A townhouse, proportionally - but also an art museum. It held both those qualities: lived-in and curated..

And then it’s Christmas and I'm living in the same house - walking an old friend (who I hadn’t seen in years) downstairs to the front door - and then something magical… All across the lawn ( - it’s snowing..) and all across the lawn are silver balls, like Christmas tree baubles, stardust, offerings.

They are beautiful. Like those tiny edible silver balls you sometimes have on Christmas cakes on top of the thick white icing but they were much larger - and each one.. had a little Christmas cake inside of it.

They are emergency Christmas cakes.

And I ask you: Did you do this?

It’s like psychic nourishment - hidden, sprinkled across the white.

This is where The New Blood Art Foundation began - with a dream of  sweet psychic emergency provision. Hidden in silver balls, like offerings.

Lets build a house where dreams become systems, and systems don’t lose their soul.
